Your privacy is your right. The personal information you provide to the Internet Strategy Forum (ISF) will not be shared, sold or disclosed to third parties except as noted below.
Survey Data Collection and Reporting
The identity of individual survey respondents on ISF surveys will be kept confidential. Survey data collected may be reported to the public in aggregate and anonymously, with no explicit connection made between the data reported and specific respondents or the companies they work for.
However, the identity of individual survey respondents on ISF surveys may be used to fulfill specific incentive offers. In other words, if the ISF owes an incentive to a specific survey respondent, we need that respondent's contact information and use that contact information to notify the respondent.
Note that survey data is separate from the contact data collected as part of the ISF application process or ISF member profile updates (see below).
Registration Information for EventsSome limited registrant data (first and last name, job title, company name and street address, but NOT email address, phone number or anything else) from event attendees may be shared with certain sponsors of that event as long as the sponsors have agreed NOT to provide this information to any third parties. Credit Card and Payment Information
If you choose to register for one of our events online using the secure server, your personal credit card information will be encrypted before it is transmitted over the Internet. This means that data cannot be read by others as it is sent over the Internet. And once the financial transaction is completed after we receive your encrypted personal information, is is not stored on any server at our site.In order to complete transactions, some of your data will be processed by the commercial entities what we have partnered with to provide (1) online event registration management (eROI, Inc.) and (2) credit card authorization and processing (viaKLIX payment gateway, NOVA Information Systems and Umpqua Bank). While some of your data is stored on servers with those companies, our agreements with them prevent them from using your data for anything other than the intended purposes.
This purchase will show up on your credit card statement as "Internet Strategy Forum".
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must first notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Under US Federal Law, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges.

Contact Details and other Data Collected for ISF Membership Application
Information provided voluntarily as part of the application process for ISF membership will not be shared with any third parties with the possible exception of cases where the applicant does not qualify for ISF membership because their company offers Internet-related products and/or services to typical ISF customer-side members. In those cases the data may be shared with the Internet Partner Forum, a professional networking organization for agencies and other vendors offering Internet-related products and/or services to enterprise customers. Such data will be used only to communicate Internet Partner Forum membership and program offers and occasional Internet Strategy Forum program offerings.
ISF Member Contact and Profile Data
In rare instances, the primary Email address provided by ISF members may be shared with third-party partners of the Internet Strategy Forum, but only to make a specific and relevant offer related to potential needs of the Internet strategy profession and not to be added to the third party's own contact list for other use. The ISF will not share any other data besides primary email address. Since the launch of the Internet Strategy Forum in 2004 the only partner we have worked with in such a manner is MarketingSherpa.
