Dipesh Biswas - Principal, Wipro Consulting Services

Mr. Biswas has been a leading practitioner of IT-related strategy consulting and advisory services for over 20 years, the last 10 years of which has been in the US.

His primary work has been in helping his client CIOs with leveraging technology-related innovations for improving business competitiveness and implementing process-related innovations for improving business agility.

Mr. Biswas worked with several dot com start-ups in the late 90s, advising them on leveraging internet technology to create new business models. Later on, he specialized in helping businesses use internet technology to create new experiences for their customers and improve their business’s ability to compete.

Mr. Biswas has also published papers on offshore outsourcing for IT services which are widely used by IT practitioners and referred to in US government reports on the topic.

Mr. Biswas is currently leading Wipro’s consulting services business on the west coast. Prior to that, worked with Deloitte Consulting as a thought leader on outsourcing and a practitioner of CIO advisory services.

In his capacity as a consultant, he has served various companies such as GE (various units), Weyerhaeuser, So Cal Edison, NorthWestern Mutual, Agilent, etc...

Mr. Biswas has been involved with creating an implementation framework for service-oriented architectures to serve the needs of business process management applications and is a practicing thought leader on the subject for various clients.

Mr. Biswas lives in Santa Clara with his wife and two children.
